A handsome pair of mid 19th century English cast iron fire dogs sourced from a country estate in Surrey.


Expertly crafted in cast iron, these reclaimed andirons are good quality and durable, having stood the test of time more than 170 years.


Each has a simple symmetrical octagonal design with soft curves that make them an attractive feature of fireplaces period and contemporary alike.


CONDITION REPORT


Good structural condition. Finished in back graphite. Wide parts of the body are hollow with cast lost wax process.
