A handsome feature of any garden, this reclaimed sundial sees a mid 20th century Swedish cast metal Atlas armillary brought together by an early 20th century English York stone baluster base with octagonal composition stone top.
Both the dial and the pedestal have been weathered by the elements over many years, creating a beautiful timeworn look that’ll bring an air of age and interest to outdoor spaces traditional and contemporary alike.
Inspired by Greek mythology, the armillary is elevated by a miniature depiction of Atlas, the Titan, who was forced to carry the earth upon his shoulders for all eternity as punishment for his involvement in the Titan War against the Olympian Gods…
