An unusual set of 49 Delft style tiles manufactured by renowned English fireplace makers Bratt Colbran of London.


Dating from circa 1920, these reclaimed 3 inch fireplace tiles showcase a smooth white colour detailed with various blue scenes of figures and floral designs incorporating Victorian and Georgian styles.


The perfect set to be used as a decorative panel or a impressive splash back.


Stamped 'Bratt Colbran' to the reverse.

Established in 1909, Bratt Colbran & Co Ltd of Oxgate Lane, Cricklewood, London were English manufacturers of stoves, heaters, fireplaces and tiles. Good quality and substantially constructed, these tiles are testament to the company’s esteemed craftsmanship, having stood the test of time for more than a century!


Additional dimensions


Each tile is approx 7.5cm x 7.5cm square.


There are 49 full tiles - 25 patterned and 24 white with 10 additional white tiles.


CONDITION REPORT


Good structural condition. Very clean backs – some look almost unused. They have previously been used in a fireplace and they have an even crazed finish.
