This roman style mosaic on stand is a fragment from history. Dating from the 1850s, it contains intricate mosaic work using contrasting coloured marble, giving it the look of an ancient Roman villa or bath house. The partial curved pattern suggests it was once part of a larger design. It was reclaimed from a building in the southeast of England and includes a bespoke steel stand for use as a historical display piece.
