A beautiful and finely-made tall antique wrought iron pedestrian gate, reclaimed from an estate in rural Scotland. Dating from circa 1780, this late 18th century gate is an original from the Georgian period and features ornate scrollwork alongside urn finials to the top and handcrafted metal leaves. Over 240 years old, this antique side gate has certainly stood the test of time, ready to make a beautiful feature in a 21st century garden.


CONDITION REPORT


Good structural condition. Minor surface rust and some flaky paint in places. Original hinge eyes but no pins. Bolt latch. Some general small bends but pretty good overall condition.
