Two antique W. Meeds & Son terracotta planters dating from circa 1890. These beautiful late 19th century planters are detailed with Tudor rose decorations - symbolising the English Tudor Dynasty (1485-1603) - and have retained their vibrant red terracotta colour, making them a statement piece for any garden. Each antique planters is stamped: 'W. Meeds & Son. Manufacturers. Burgess Hill, Sussex’.

W. Meeds & Son Ltd were brick, tile and pottery makers from 1890 - 1921. They were based on Station Road, Burgess Hill, Sussex.
