Item Details

This French terracotta ponne is glazed on the inside and would have therefore been used to store food in the early 20th century. We loved the shape and thought it could be repurposed as a garden planter. It is a good size and would look good planted with seasonal flowers or as we have shown it in the garden room with a houseplant.


Minor scratches, nicks and scuffs consistent with age and use
No major losses, cracks or structural damage
Slight surface wear and variations in colour due to weathering
