A busy burrwood teacaddy, the beautiful veneers used all round and with smart mahogany and boxwood edging, the hinged lid opening onto a foil-lined interior with a single cover veneered with partridgewood and with a turned bone knob. This fine and good looking teacaddy retains its original lock, key and bone escutcheon. English circa 1790.
