A fine mezzotint by James Watson after the portrait by Sir Joshua Reynolds. Caroline, Countess of Carlisle, (1753-1824), wife of the 5th Earl of Carlisle and daughter of 1st Marquess of Stafford. London published by the engraver, May 10th 1773.
A fine impression, cut to the plate mark, the subject's identity pencilled within the title band.
Within a good replica of an eighteenth century print frame.
