Item Details

A fine, large, bronze model of a curios fox by Franz Xavier Bergman (1861 -1936). The colour of the perfect and original patina produced by the careful application of toned lacquers rather than the more usual pigmented paints. Marked to the base with the foundry's impressed 'B' in a vase. Vienna, Austria, circa 1910.
