A good Georgian silkwork picture, depicting a scene of a wealthy couple engaging with peasants who are living in woods beside a river.  Undoubtedly made by a schoolgirl in around 1780, the sophistication of depth in the scene made by the careful use of dark and light silk thread.
Within the original gilt gesso frame.
