The art of the wood-turner. Each part of this fine little Regency period sewing clamp has been produced at the lathe of a wood-turner. The rosewood has been turned and then cut, threaded, assembled and finally finished with a padded velvet pin-cushion, sometime around 1820.
Circa 5 inches high.
