English William IV Chair Legs later converted to a Pair of Painted Candlesticks


These charming Candlesticks have been made from genuine English William IV Chair Legs by a leading father and son cabinet making and specialist paint finish duo.  The original style and carvings of the legs has been retained as they have been transformed into candlesticks.


It is a sad fact that some of the most wonderful heritage pieces of furniture have fallen from grace and are literally thrown away nowadays and although this set of chairs was well past a point of serving a purposeful life in their current condition they have been given an incarnation to go on highlighting the skill and craftsmanship that was delivered in each chair leg.  This is a typical design of its era and instantly recognisable and is now shining a light on what can be done to salvage something desirable from discarded items.
