Item Description
Opaque glass champagne bucket for the champagne house of Perrier Jouet.
This beautiful & stylish French frosted glass ice bucket is in the Lalique style. The glass is very thick and heavy, weighing over 2 kg. It is inspired by the Belle Époque Anémones Galle. The anemones we're designed by Emilie Galle, an artist/designer of the Art Nouveau period. When he met the owner of Perrier Jouet they decided to make the prestige champagne 'La Belle Époque'. This was one of the first designs for the Belle Époque and it's no longer in production, the more modern buckets are green with a flower design.
A couple of minor nibbles that don't detract.
