Item Description

A very stylish, high-quality 19th-century William IV period library armchair in mahogany and buttoned leather. Circa 1835 and in lovely original condition. This attractive library armchair has a solid mahogany frame, with a nicely shaped backrest and leather arm supports, a generous seat, and lovely turned fluted legs terminating in original stamped brass castors. The leather, with studded trim, has a great look to it, gently worn with age, and has been fed and waxed to give it a wonderful mellow glow. The chair seat height is 46 cm. In very good condition and comfortable to sit on, it is a perfect addition to any home or office.
