Super 1930s Modernist Art Deco glazed Cabinet with Drawers C.1935

Definitely a cut above the rest of its type with some great modernist lines, 2 useful little drawers, panelled sides and cupboard doors and of a good light tone to the English oak. Also well made with oak liners, good joints and well planned craftsmanship.

Condition wise it sits in good historic order - a few light marks to the smooth solid oak top, no cracks or splits to the sides or front. Both drawers are clean and running smoothly, the thick glass doors to the upper cabinet are sliding as they should and all the appropriate parts have the original lozenge shaped oak handles. Makers badge to the back and very much in the manner of Heal’s in style and quality.
A lovely and highly placeable piece C.1930s which are getting more difficult to source in smart condition.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
