A Good Looking Oak Modernist Art Deco Sideboard Cabinet Early 1930s

A fabulous British Modernist two toned oak sideboard cabinet likely a commission piece rather than a production line one and sitting in a rather good cherished condition.

This one's about keeping it simple, sleek and smooth in design and utilizing the quality and grain of the light oak rather than relying on looks of decoration and carving - very much the modernist style.

British made, with 3 top drawers of good size all with original, easy on the eye oak handles, and underneath the 3 drawers there’s a two door cupboard with those good looking long well shaped handles. Inside there is plenty of space and an oak shelf that could be removed if you wish.

The condition of this well made piece is good - we have light day to day marks, no splits etc in the oak and the tone and grain used is well thought through and executed. The insides of the drawers and cupboard have light marks but nothing nasty. One drawer is lined with black baize, maybe for cutlery.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
