Victorian Country House Scale 3 Seater Bergere Sofa C1900

Very pleasing on the eye and of great scale; wide, deep and with a good rake, just how we like them. English C1900. Without doubt grand looking with double cane to the sides and concealed castors to the decorative legs.

We have plenty of space and the sofa is strong with no wobbles to the decorative frame or cane work. We of course have day to day knocks, bumps, marks but nothing off putting with no breaks in the cane. The sprung base is tight, good and as it should be.The silk woven fabric is faded and we have some of the trim missing.

You could use as it stands however our upholsterer Mark would be able to offer upholstery of the base seat, feather filled deep cushions x 2 or 3 to the seat at a cost of £915 plus VAT plus you would require around 9 metres of fabric. He would also be able to offer back cushions in a variety of specs and sizes in addition if required at an additional cost. Please let us know when placing your order and we are happy to assist with sourcing fabric swatches etc.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
