Gordon Russell was one of Britain’s great furniture designers and the Gordon Russell Design Museum is worthy of a lengthy visit if you wish to know more about the company and how it shaped furniture post war in Great Britain.

It’s a well weighted piece with a run of 3 drawers, no key, to the right and a useful deep cupboard to the left. The top, of solid oak, is nicely planed to the edges giving it some real mid-century style, as do those angled legs. As you would expect, the desk looks good from all angles so could be placed in a room not just against a wall.

Condition is good. The piece sits firm, we have genuine day to day use marks to the top, the solid brass handles are in place and the drawers are opening and closing as they need to. The maker's badge sits underneath the desk and we have ensured the piece is neat and tidy and ready to place after a session in our workshop.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
