With applied gilt-mounted decoration throughout the frame.
Traditionally upholstered in an interesting, period silk damask fabric, possibly original to the chair.
Attributed to the Netherlands, late eighteenth/ early nineteenth century.
Provenance: Wolsdon House, Cornwall.
Structurally sound, with imperfections.
