Such an impressive display size with the frame being 56 cm wide and 46 cm high.
Your first notice about this painting is the incredibly deep perspective that it has, a straight brown muddy country road path which has deeper rain waterlogged edges that was caused by tractor tyres travelling up & down. On either flank of the road rich lush green grass with white flowers, a large bushy tree is further back, to the right of the road going down the hill are a couple dressed in traditional countryside clothes, the young lady is wearing a hat, with long brunette hair, a light blouse and darker blue skirt, the young gentleman is wearing a light colour shirt, black trousers, they are holding hands looking out towards the left at the low flat lying fields ahead of them, with the large hills over to the right in the distance. Above with a mix of mainly grey overcast & lighter blue sky. You can feel that you are drawn into the peace and tranquillity of this amazing pretty scene. The different hues are so vivid and vibrant and really stand out which you will love.
In our opinion this is one of his fine works.
Brief artist biography Andrew Belderbos, British artist born in the year 1969. He lives in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, he loves to paint as a hobby he has exhibited online at Saatchiart & is active.
Biography of Sir John Kyffin Williams, OBE, RA (9 May 1918 – 1 September 2006) was a Welsh landscape painter who lived at Pwllfanogl, Llanfairpwll, on the Island of Anglesey. Williams is widely regarded as the defining artist of Wales during the 20th century
Williams was born in Llangefni, Anglesey, one of two sons into an old landed Anglesey family. His father was a bank manager. Williams wrote that his mother was an emotionally repressed woman who had a virulent dislike of the Welsh and the Welsh language. Kyffin Williams was educated at Moreton Hall School, Trearddur House School in Anglesey, then at Shrewsbury School where he contracted polio encephalitis which led him to develop epilepsy, a misfortune he later described as "my greatest fortune". He joined the 6th Battalion Royal Welch Fusiliers as a lieutenant in 1937. After he failed a British Army medical examination in 1941 (because of epilepsy), the examining doctor suggested he pursue his interest in art.
The Carneddau (lit. 'the cairns'; Carneddau is a Welsh plural form, and is sometimes anglicised to Carnedds) are a group of mountains in Snowdonia, Wales. They include the largest contiguous areas of high ground (over 2,500 feet (760 m) or 3,000 feet (910 m) high) in Wales and England (although larger areas over 2,000 feet (610 m) are found in Northern England), as well as six or seven of the highest peaks in the country—the Fifteen Peaks. The range also encloses a number of lakes such as Llyn Cowlyd and Llyn Eigiau, and the Aber Falls waterfall. It is delimited by the Irish Sea to the north, the Conwy valley to the east, and by the A5 road from Betws-y-Coed to Bethesda to the south and west. The area covers nearly 200 square kilometres (80 sq mi), about 10% of the area of Snowdonia.
