Item Description
Edwardian era Arts & Crafts style oak desk c.1905. 57" x 31" top with a brown faux leather work surface. Over seven oak lined drawers arranged a round the large central kneehole (21" wide x 24" high). Moulded drawer fronts with beautiful and original Arts & Crafts style heart shaped handles. Short turned oak legs joined with stretchers to each side and raised on good quality brass castors. Moulded and panelled sides. Flat oak panels to the rear. With a makers label for Robson & Sons of Newcastle Upon Tyne on the middle drawer and also stamped on the locks. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied for the middle drawer.
