Item Description
Charming little early 19th.c. Welsh oak miniature chest of drawers c.1810. Standing just 33" tall. Probably an apprentice piece, in the form of a Georgian chest on chest with two short drawers over four long drawers of graduated height. Solid oak drawer fronts with moulded edges and later ebonised wooden knobs. Applied mouldings to the cornice, waist and around the base. Raised on the original turned legs also in oak. Oak sides, mixed timbers in the drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
