Item Description
Unusual pair of Art Deco era brass and marble top side tables c.1930. Ideal as bedsides or as lamp tables in a living room perhaps. Original pale marble tops with rounded corners. On brass bases, each with a small drawer and an open shelf with original amber glass shelf and a raised gallery to the sides and rear. Striking modernist design free of almost any applied decoration save for the ring handle and the acanthus detail to the feet front and rear. Nice quality with oak drawer linings and solid brass. Presented as found in very good condition. The lacquered finish has worn through in places but the brass could be polished bright again.
