Item Description
Fine pair of late 19th.c Chinese hardwood urn stands or low side tables c.1890. Unusual shaped tops with pale pink marble centres set within a border carved with birds amongst bamboo leaves and with beaded edges. Pierced aprons all round densely carved with foliage, note the strange little creatures stealing fruit. Heavily carved legs and feet joined with shaped stretchers meeting with rounded boss at the centre carved with bamboo leaves. Very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
