Early doubled sided ‘PLEASE QUEUE HERE FOR TAXIS’ British Railway enamel sign.
English c.1920’s
Presented in original condition this stunning sign would have been used outside of the train station to determine the location of the taxi rank.
Thick enamelled steel with fully flanged edges & original eye bolt hooks.
The maroon colourway signifies that this particular sign was used in the Midland Region.
Rarely seen still together as a double-sided sign as they tend to get spilt.
Great decorative piece.
