Item Description
This rare Victorian bronze Mr Punch tobacconist counter lighter would have had a gas flame appear from the cigar in his mouth to light the customers cigar after purchase.
The gas would have been connected to Mr Punch from below the counter.
He is well modelled and holds a small cup raised in his left hand to extinguish cigars and a quill in his right hand.
A good quality well made heavy bronze Mr Punch.
