Covelli Tennant is a London and Suffolk based business specialising in the  bespoke upholstery of interesting Victorian and Edwardian sofas and chairs with an emphasis on one-off, antique and vintage textiles sourced by us - Janie Tennant and Sara Covelli on our extensive travels both at home and abroad.

Although we have a particular expertise and love of textiles, we also include decorative items of vintage lighting, costume, framed art deco wallpaper samples, fabric, Jacqmar scarves and old flags, cushions made from interesting found fabrics including 18th Century silks, toiles and global textiles amongst our constantly changing stock items.

We have an eye for the unusual and a penchant for colour!  We have described our style as peripatetic by which we mean the embracing of an evolving global aesthetic and the joy of the hunt wherever that may take us….more prosaically a curated collection of widely sourced antiques for the way we live today.

Covelli Tennant was founded 12 years ago after a period spent working in the textile departments of Sotheby's and Bonham’s Auctioneers.

Viewing is by appointment only please.

As well as selling directly to the public from our website we have exhibited at the Decorative Antiques and Textiles Fair, Liberty of London, various private seasonal fairs and Pop-ups.
