A fine Anglo Indian Hoshiarpur inlayed plant stand or jardiniere. The traditional craftsmanship of the Indian process of inlay is a painstakingly intricate one, a technique of skill and patience. The method of engraving various small motifs came from Hoshiarpur, a city in Punjab. The wood is most probably rosewood.
A stunning, superb quality c1900’s Anglo-Indian plantstand or antique jardiniere with a good sized zinc pot to plant up and decorate your home.
