Item Description
The triangular shaped copper wall lantern, possibly once used on the railways, having later been converted to electricity and with its original reflector, with an unusual pagoda elliptical top, the whole surviving from the last quarter of nineteenth century England.
The lantern is in totally original order with a good amount of verdegris to the copper. One of the glass panels is lacking and therefore needs replacing.
We cannot find another example in this shape having been sold and it would make for a striking exterior porch light.
A scarce find in a very unusual form.
