Rare specimen. 100% cast iron....also the seat!!
First time I saw it and had to have it.
At first, it was a big mess. Many coats of paint in all colours reveiled them selves after it had started to peel off because of the weathering.
We took the bench apart. ( four pieces)
Had it professionally cleaned of any paint residu.
Pre-treatment against rust.
Next, two layers of powdercoating in 70% gloss. RAL 9010
Put the bench back together, now using stainless bolt and nuts. ( easy for transport as 'flat pack')
This bench will be fine for the next 50 years or so.
178cm long, back 88cm h. Normal seat height.
Terracotta pedestal available.
Classic outdoor teak arm chairs available. ( also 4 side chairs)
