Item Description
Circa 1920. Attractive French scagiola marble top kingwood commode in excellent condition. The serpentine shaped marble top with attractive different inset marbles on a pale cream background above the serpentine chested commode with canted corners original cast brass rococo handles and escutcheons. The drawer-fronts with mirror matched diagonal kingwood veneers & the curved sides with further mirror matched kingwood panels above an ormolu-mounted apron and cabriole legs with brass sabots.
