Item Description

Circa 1860, Dutch marquetry ladies writing desk/bureau. The bombé shape flap opens to reveal a well fitted interior with drawers and pigeon holes. Below this is one long drawer with cast brass handles and a shaped apron, and all stands on elegant cabriole legs. The whole piece is profusely inlaid with floral marquetry.
