Item Description
Circa 1880. Early Georgian style red lacquered wall mirror in the chinoiserie style. The shaped top with a gilded shell motif and frieze with painted chinoiserie figures and trees. The moulded mirror frame in red and gilt lacquer with further Chinese decorations and the original mirror plate in very good condition. The bleached pine back with handmade iron fittings carved London 1741 and with a family crest carving but the mirror dates about 1880.
