Item Description
Circa 1900. George 1st-style neat-sized figured walnut bookcase. Surrounded by a moulded cornice over a beaded and crossbanded frieze, the upper door with moulded astragal glazing opening to interior with adjustable walnut fronted shelves. The base with a frieze drawer in mirror matched figured walnut and brass drop handles above a cupboard with quartered walnut door within a moulded frame, opening to a shelved interior. All on a moulded base over ogee bracket feet. Lovely colour and patina. With locks and keys.
