Item Description

Circa 1880. William and Mary style inlaid burr walnut bookcase on stand. The arched top with moulded cornice over two shaped doors with beaded astragals, opening to a shelved interior with walnut fronts. The separate base with a moulded rim and cross banding, and herein inlaid frieze drawers with oak liners and fretted brass handles, all supported on turned supports above shaped stretchers and neat bun feet. Lovely colour and patina and in excellent condition.
