Item Description
Circa 1880. A Late Victorian double fronted open bookcase. The solid top with wonderfully figured mahogany, with a stylish moulded fore-edges and simple frieze. Each with three adjustable shelves with polished facings, separated by ribbed pilasters, the back panel is stained in Venetian red, beneath the bottom shelf there are further mouldings and the enclosed plinth follows the form of the top.
