Circa 1860. A mid Victorian gilt framed oil painting on canvas. The large painting depicting a rural scene with people, cottages and farm animals, the well-executed painting is contained in a large carved and gilded gesso frame. The slip with foliate carving to the edge and concave section with cartouche panels, C scrolls and foliate carving on the rest of the frame.
