Circa 1820. A quality set of 6 George IV ‘Gillows’ style rosewood dining chairs. The shaped and carved cresting rail with uprights fluted and curvaceous, the lower back with fine carving, large stuff over seat with stylish paneled seat rail, back legs are square and out swept, front legs with anthemion or palmette’s carved on the corners, are turned, ring turned, fluted, and tapering and finishing on a simple turned toe.
