Item Description
A large 19th century antique cast iron ceiling rose. English c1870.
A good Victorian casting no doubt from one of the great foundries. It may be possible to find out as i have another larger one (same model) with a registration mark on it. I haven't looked too closely on this one so it maybe there.
Damage to one of the "arms" (shown in photos - please see blog photos for all close ups) with a historical repair which is strong. Not particularly visible , especially up on a ceiling but it is there. Priced accordingly.
Dimensions in inches/cms;
38.5"/97cm diameter.
Approx 3.5"/9cm deep at the centre. Central hole is 1.375"/3.5cm in diameter.
Weight is 17kg.
