Item Description
A large vintage 1950s / 1960s opal glass "onion" pendant light. English, mid century. In great condition. This has been rewired with the original grip and stem fittings but with a new brass ES lampholder.
Please note the fabric flex has an integral strain wire to hold the heavy (2.3kg) shade securely so at ceiling level this wire will need to be looped and crimped ( i can do this if given the drop height you need) and then secured on a hook behind the ceiling plate or in the space above the ceiling. With a simple cord gripped ceiling plate this will then give a very uncluttered and clean lined look.
