Item Description
A set of antique / vintage rod or stem suspended opal glass globe lights. c1940.
The large globes screw into heavy cast galleries (now highly polished). The hanging rods or stems and ceiling plates are polished chrome plated brass.
All rewired retaining the original porcelain Edison screw lampholders. The ceiling plate attaches to the stems with a ball and socked joint which allows a certain amount of movement (less likely to break if knocked) and helps the fitting to hang perfectly straight.

Globes are 12"/30.5cm diameter.
The overall height (or drop from ceiling to the base of the globe) is 30"/76cm.
The stem is 0.75" diameter. The galleries are 4.5"/11.5cm diameter.
