Item Description
A pair of large 1950s opal glass "onion" pendant light shades yellow striped ( subtle-ish primrose colour). A very similar shape and period to the "onion" shades designed by Lisa Johansson-Pape.
Ready to go; Rewired using the original internal "gripper" hangers (new brass hanging loops and brass ES lampholders) and 2.0m fabric flex. The assembly has been configured so a medium/large globe bulb will be positioned centrally within the shade for optimal light output. The original ceiling plates are included (with new patinated brass hanging loops).
Please note these lights are suspended by using a cable between the ceiling plate hanging loop (crimp supplied -easily secured by an electrician when hanging the light or i can do it before delivery if you know the overall drop) and the loop on the shade hanger loop (ready crimped/secured). The images shows the parts / set up clearly.
Dimensions in inches/cms;
14"/35.5cm tall.
14"/35.5cm diameter.
4"/10cm base aperture.
Weight of shades only is 1.72kg and 2.16kg (handblown so vary).
Priced per light.
Please note i also have a smaller set of 3 of these shades, and set of non striped white opal ones (again smaller than these ones).
