Item Description
One of the best models of bankers / desk lamp. English, c.1930.
An antique bronze patinated brass bankers / desk / work / table lamp with trough shade and large lobed cast base (also cast iron weighted). Cast brass parts, excellent quality, fully adjustable - and works very well (the stem moves back and forward using a trough friction joint with spring tension-good as new).
This has been fully taken apart to refurbish; lightly cleaned and polished on the patinated brass parts, cast iron base de-rusted and polished, inside of trough shade T-cutted and waxed, rewired with 2.5m (exposed) fabric flex, new traditional plug. Pat tested.
