Item Description
Three studio pottery / ceramic / stoneware lamps. English, 3rd quarter 20th century.
All perfect condition.
Provenance: Purchased from Bluecoat Display Centre, Liverpool, 1981, 1991 and 1994.
1.Globe stoneware lamp covered with grey glaze washed with bands of iron by David Heninsley (1927-2007). Impressed DH mark.
15.5"/39cm tall inc. lampholder (12.25"/31cm without). 10"/25.5cm max diameter. 4kg.
Rewired with 3m dark brown fabric flex, patinated safety-switched lampholder and hard plastic traditional plug.Pat tested.
2.Lobed stoneware lamp with iron glaze by David Heninsley. Marked DH.
Rewired with 2.5m dark brown fabric flex, patinated safety-switched lampholder and hard plastic traditional plug. 2.3kg.
3.Bottle shaped stoneware lamp by John Kershaw covered in pale oatmeal glaze.
14.5"/37.5cm tall inc lampholder (11.5"/29cm w/o). 6"/15cm max. diameter. 1.6kg.
Rewired with 2.5m of white fabric flex, patinated safety-switched lampholder and hard plastic traditional plug. Pat tested.
