Item Description
A pair of fabulous quality and design antique cast brass lamps, the square waisted stems spreading concavely to wide moulded bases. English, c1920.
The undersides are filled in with a thick brass plate (pics).
The odd one of these surfaces from time to time and can be marked REVO (so either made or distributed by them). Maybe these were designed for a specific ship or for use on boats in general, i don't know but they are very stable and could possibly have also been fastened down.
I have highly polished these (including the bases to make them smooth so as to not scratch surfaces - they could have fabric added too).
Rewired with 3m fabric flex and new traditional phenolic 3A plugs. Original switched brass lampholders (lovely quality).
