Item Description
An antique Val St Lambert glass lantern with decorative repousse brass band hooked mount. Belgium c1900.
Etched inscription (see photo) to side reads; DE GRELLE VAL ST LAMBERT MADE IN BELGIUM BEST CRYSTAL GLASS.
Now electrified without using the original glass smoke cover (which i may still have).
Ready to go; wired with approx. 1m fabric flex and patinated brass BC lampholder / cordgrip. Complete with solid brass patinated brass chains and a patinated brass ceiling 3 hook plate (earthed, brass cable guide, cordgrip, patinated slotted brass fixing screws). See close up images for details.
Dimensions in inches/cms;
Drop (ceiling to bottom of glass) is 30.5"/77.5cm. This could easily be reduced.
Glass shade only is 12.5"/32cm tall.
Diameter of shade is 11"/28cm (13.5"/34.5cm max diameter if including the mounting hooks).
