This stunning work depicts cattle grazing and drinking from the River Avon with a vast landscape to the background, the tree line and skies above which are reflected in the River Avon to the foreground.

The work is housed in a titled gilt frame. Both the canvas and frame remain in a very good condition throughout.

The format of the 'C. Roberson & Co' canvas supplier stamp verso dates between 1913-37; the work is circa this period thus.
