Item Description
A fine novelty brass and horn letter opener in the form of a lizard, 1900.
The lizard boasts very finely cast details and red glass eyes. The tail of the lizard is formed from horn and is again very finely done.
There is a very small hole in the casting just to the fore of the left front leg (please see photographs) but generally the whole piece remains in a very good condition with a great patina.
