Item Description

This is a lovely traditional English Victorian wall clock with an oak wood case. This style of clocks were often seen in large public places such as banks, schools and train stations.

This particular time piece has been carefully cleaned and restored. A great British antique!

James and Stephen Tree began making clocks in the 1830s and in 1847 moved from Old Kent Road to 121 Great Dover Street, London SE1 - very close to Tower Bridge Road.

The full diameter of the clock is 33.5cm, the clock face itself is 24.5cm.
